Who we are, Marines who care.
Lakeland Marines Care Fund is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit service organization that was created by Marine Corps League member and our Founder Sgt. Ed Korek (USMC Veteran) to provide benevolent assistance to active duty Military, Veterans, and their families. Our streamlined structure allows for no overhead expenses, thus enabling us to contribute 100% of the funds income to Veterans and Veterans families as well as Organizations supporting these causes as well,quickly.
Our main funding source is hard work and raising funds by viable means as well as establishing ourselves with partner organizations that come forward to help us in this cause. We also enhance the quality of life for our veterans and their families. We help wounded,and sick veterans at home and Veterans deployed around the world. We help Veterans and their families transition from military life to civilian life. We help them navigate through the VA which can be a difficulty process.

Vet Fest
The event is run by The Community of Hope and its partners, dedicated to honoring veterans, featuring live music, military displays, and community activities for all ages. It provides valuable resources and services for veterans, including healthcare and employment information. The festival fosters a sense of community and recognition for the sacrifices made by veterans and their families.

PRESERVING TRADITIONS AND PROVIDING COMMUNITY SUPPORT.
Reinforcing our Commitment
With this initiative, our goal is to promote local Patriotic events with color guards for parades, ceremonies, street dedications and Funerals of local Marines of Gold star families.

MARINE ROSE PROGRAM
The Marine Rose program raises money for Veterans And Veterans programs through fund raising activities in our Local Communities. Members Of Lakeland Detachment go out and attend these events and raise money on a person to person basis. 100% of those donations go to Veterans.

We also enhance the quality of life for our veterans,their families,including sick or wounded veterans, deployed veterans, and transitioning veterans from military to civilian life, homeless veterans, veterans job assistance and especially medical assistance.

Our vision is to provide our services to our nations veterans in conjunction with like minded people and organizations who believe we must honor our commitment to those who are serving or have served in order to protect all that we hold dear as a Nation.
